Synopsis

The 16th volume of the official gag spin-off to the hit dark-fantasy Overlord, painting daily life inside the Great Tomb of Nazerick in the loosest, silliest way possible. The sous-chef wrestles with a surprisingly earnest worry, the Floor Guardians scramble to "expand their social circle," and every costume in the Treasury gets dragged out for the "Fashion Center Pandora" segment. It's a whole book of laid-back gags you will never see in the main story, letting you enjoy the comical, off-duty side of the absolute ruler Ainz and his eccentric underlings.

The standout is "Fashion Center Pandora." The Guardians sneak costumes out of the Treasury and it escalates into a full styling contest, with Albedo delivering a genuinely stern lecture over Shalltear's scandalously revealing pick. The sous-chef's dilemma turns out to be nothing more than wanting Ainz to praise his cooking, until Demiurge over-analyzes it into a full-blown incident. Pandora's Actor goes wild doing his Ainz impression again, and the real Ainz walking in freezes the entire room. It's peak peaceful Nazerick, the opposite of the main story's tension.
