Synopsis

Ayanokoji fully captures Kei Karuizawa's heart, folding her in as his "strongest pawn." Broken by past bullying, Kei is reborn on absolute dependence toward him. The shipboard exam ends with Ryuen's failure to identify the leader, and Ayanokoji guards the points and information without ever stepping into the spotlight. Ryuen pays the price for targeting Class D, and the balance of power shifts. This is the cruise arc's climax—the volume where Ayanokoji's terrifying, unreadable nature is completed.
